Quick Tip: Welcome Hubby Home

In order for the house to feel more “homey” for your Hubby when he arrives home, plan to do a ten to fifteen minute “quick pick up” before he arrives home.

If he comes home at 5’o’clock, aim to start at 4:40.  Get the kids’ help picking up clutter off the table, tossing toys in the toy box– this is not deep cleaning time, just an overall pickup, so your husband can be welcomed into a (mostly) straightened home after work!

Teach your children to greet him at the door with a kiss.  Chances are if he feels welcomed and appreciated, he’ll return the favor to you!

Light a candle to make the place smell good too (not that he’ll notice that!)
